Picked up a nail or a screw? Most punctures are repaired while you wait. Quick, done properly from the inside, and a lot cheaper than replacing a tyre that did not need replacing.

Got a flat?
Most tyres we cannot repair were repairable when the puncture happened. What decides it is usually the next ten minutes.
Do not drive on it flat
A few hundred metres on a flat tyre chews up the inside of the sidewall, and that damage cannot be repaired. Pull over and put the spare on.
Leave the nail where it is
Pulling it out turns a slow leak into a fast one. Leave it in and we can see exactly where it went and the angle it went in at.
Call and come in
Give us a ring so we know you are on the way, then drive or bring the wheel in. Most repairs are done while you wait.

How We Repair It

A plug pushed in from the outside without taking the tyre off can hide damage you cannot see. We take the tyre off the rim, check the inside for damage from being driven on low, and repair it from the inside so it holds for the life of the tyre.
Tyre taken off the rim and inspected inside
Internal patch, not a surface plug
Refitted and rebalanced afterwards
Pressures checked on all four before you go
Told straight if it is unrepairable

Repair or replace
We would rather repair your tyre than sell you a new one. But some damage cannot be made safe, and we will show you why rather than just telling you.
Usually repairable
A nail or screw in the main tread
A slow leak you have been topping up
Small punctures caught early
Tyres with plenty of tread left
Usually needs replacing
Damage to the sidewall or shoulder
A tyre that has been driven on flat
A large cut or tear rather than a hole
A tyre already at or near the legal limit

Alignment questions
Absolutely. Most punctures can be repaired while you wait.
Most are done while you wait. If we are busy when you arrive we will give you an honest time rather than a hopeful one, and you are welcome to leave the car and come back.
No. The sidewall flexes every time the wheel turns, so a repair there will not hold safely. The same goes for the shoulder where the tread meets the sidewall. We will show you where the damage is and talk you through the options.
Sometimes. It depends how far and how fast. Driving on a flat crushes the sidewall from the inside, which is why we take every tyre off the rim to look before we repair it.
It can get you home, but it is not a permanent repair. A plug does not let anyone check the inside of the tyre, and it is the inside that tells you whether the tyre is still safe.
We will tell you why, then give you options: a new tyre at the price level that suits you, or a safety-checked used tyre to match the three you already have.

How long does a puncture repair take?
Most are done while you wait. If we are busy when you arrive we will give you an honest time rather than a hopeful one, and you are welcome to leave the car and come back.
Can a puncture in the sidewall be repaired?
No. The sidewall flexes every time the wheel turns, so a repair there will not hold safely. The same goes for the shoulder where the tread meets the sidewall. We will show you where the damage is and talk you through the options.

Is a plug from the outside good enough?
